Robert MacFarlane, célebre escritor británico especializado en naturaleza y viajes, ha publicado The Oldways, un recorrido por algunos de los caminos más antiguos del planeta. Uno de sus capítulos, “Roots” (raíces), está dedicado a la vía que atraviesa la Sierra de Guadarrama por el Puerto de la Fuenfría, mi territorio, y enlaza con el Camino de Santiago. En él narra su visita a la Biblioteca del Bosque y la etapa del camino que realizamos juntos.
